Had heard a lot about the food of this place and recently got to try it also
Sarjaa has recently got renovated and the interiors look really amazing giving you a royal feeling
The Place has indoor as well as outdoor seating and is a place where you can go with your family for an amazing dinner or can go with your friends to have drinks and snacks
The owner is a really friendly person and staff was also courteous. He suggested us to try some things which we really loved. Will let you know about then below
There was a sangria festival going on from which you could choose from 4-5 sangrias😋
Now comes the Food part😛
Things we tried were
Appetizers :
Kharda Kolsa Komdi : This was a really spicy preparation spiced with kharda. Even though this was really spicy it was my favorite from the Appetizers. Perfect for chicken lovers. You won’t be able to stop at just one piece. Definitely try this. Highly Recommended 🙌🏻
Kothimbir aur Cheese ke Chapete : These were crispy cheese Tikkis flavoured with coriander. Its a good option for vegetarians
Jhinga Tawa : Not a chicken or mutton fan? Go for the Jhinga Tawa then 😛 This was really delicious and is a very good choice for people who love prawns.
Murg Cheese Tikka : Chicken marinated with cheese and rich cream😍 It had a really good taste and was really creamy. You should first have the Kharda Kolsa Komdi and then have this to overcome the spiciness 😛
Main Course :
Sarjaas Butter Chicken : This was something about which I had heard a lot before and wanted to try from a long time. The butter chicken was extremely delicious and was creamy. One thing I liked about it that it wasn’t sweet. This was the highlight of the dinner 😍. The butter chicken paired with Butter Garlic Naan is something you should definitely try here. This was so delicious that I couldn’t concentrate much on the other main courses😋. I would definitely visit this place again to try and the other dishes and to have the butter chicken again. Sarjaa has become one of my favorite places in pune for the butter chicken😍. Definitely try this. Highly Recommended 🙌🏻
Gosht Roghan Josh : The gosht was well cooked and was also really tasty making it a good choice for people who prefer mutton.
Mallu Macchi Curry : This was a coconut based curry, yellowish in color with surmai fish. This coupled with the neer dosa or the sticky rice is an amazing combination.
Mutton Kheema : The mutton was fat free and really amazing. This was something which I loved a lot and was my favorite apart from the butter chicken 😍
Kori Roti and Chicken Curry : The Chicken curry had a rich red gravy which looked really marvelous😍 It tasted really well with the crisp kori roti.
Desserts :
Gulab Jamun : One of the best sweet dishes when it comes to Indian sweets😍. As they say dessert never goes to the stomach, it goes to the heart😛.
Malai Kulfi : This was made in house and was the perfect dish to end the whole meal ✌🏻
To summarize it, Really loved the ambiance of the place and loved the food a lot too. It’s an amazing place for you to go with your friends or family to have really delicious food. Will definitely visit this place again to try the other dishes 😍
